Tri-State Conference COVID-19 Update

There have been several inquiries about how the Georgia Polygraph Association (GPA) is going to address the current COVID-19 variants issue during the Tri-State Polygraph Conference. The GPA, in concert with Hotel Tybee, will be disinfecting the conference center accordingly. The GPA recognizes and will adhere to the current CDC guidelines regarding large gatherings as pragmatically as possible. There will be a limited number of masks available for those that wish to wear a mask and hand sanitizer will also be made available. We are all well familiar with the symptoms of COVID-19 and would ask that anyone displaying these symptoms not attend training for the day and should re-evaluate each day. Temperatures will be taken at the door every morning and after lunch with a digital no-touch thermometer before entering the conference center. Anyone with a temperature over 100.4 degrees will not be allowed into the conference center for training.

In order to assist potential attendees in assessing risks associated with COVID-19, the GPA recommends visiting the CDC website for information and recommendations made by the Center for Disease Control. While these are recommendations and are not mandatory, the GPA encourages each individual attending the conference to review and consider this information and recommendations in determining whether they wish to attend the conference and, if they attend, the personal steps available to mitigate COVID infection and transmission.
